    The arrival of fall often increases people’s anxiety. Some reasons for this may include the start of school, the impending holidays, the change in temperature, and the shorter days. Fortunately, this time of the year presents a number of activities that can help ease anxiety symptoms.     At all times of the year, it is important to practice mindfulness, which may include:

    • Meditation
    • Breathing exercises
    • Paying attention to all your senses in various environments
    • Treating yourself with kindness
    • Living in the moment

    Dealing with anxiety can be challenging, and fall can be a tough time. However, there are things you can do to reduce symptoms. If activities and mindfulness are not enough, you may want to consider holistic medication.
